My mother in-law runs a pharmacy tech class that teaches high school and young adults. Her classroom is set up like a real working pharmacy so that students can practice in a real environment. She has two laptop carts so that each student can work off there own computer which works like the monitor at the pharmacy would. The laptop cart is new and is huge improvement from the old laptop storage which was putting them all up on a shelf in the room. The doors locked but at the end of the day it was still just a shelf.
I had never seen a laptop cart before and it was a very nice way of storing their units and making sure that they are all accounted for. I am always used to have labs set up as desktops but the laptops make things way easier. If your lab is set up on laptops and you do not have a laptop cart you need to look into them.
